Abstract

Halal food products are a necessity for a Muslim. However, not all food circulating in the market is halal products, so people must be smart in choosing food products. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the level of religiosity of young people towards the decision to buy halal food products. Based on the sample of young people from various universities in the Yogyakarta and Surakarta areas the results showed that the level of religiosity and knowledge about halal food products had an influence on purchasing decisions for halal products, except that the level of religiosity had a higher influence. This shows that the level of religiosity is an important factor that needs to be considered especially in promoting halal food products.

Abstract

The Qur'an is very concerned about ethics in business. The people of Medina are people who often cheat in measuring and weighing, so Allah SWT decreases the surat of al-Mutaffifin as a threat to those who cheat in business. Siddiq is very closely related to business ethics. Siddiq in modern business ethics is often understood by the word “integrity”. Integrity is an essential principle in business. Integrity itself is a way of upholding the values and ethics of business. The values and ethics in doing business clearly have a big contribution in doing business. Integrity in business alone must be invested in someone who wants to run a business or is running a business. Business people must make this integrity a basic principle in their business.Siddiq (integrity, honesty) is defined as the basis of speech, beliefs and actions based on Islamic teachings. So that it can be concluded that the nature of Siddiq is still very relevant to modern business ethics, or in other languages that the nature of Siddiq is universal business ethics meaning that it does not recognize the basic values underlying the ethics.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of murabahah financing and mudharabah in BMT Mu’amalah Syari’ah Tebuireng Jombang on customer’s micro business development. This study used quantitative methods. The datas were analyed using simple linear regression analysis to know the influence between the independent variables and dependent variabels. The research population were 30 murabahah financing’s customers and 19 customers of mudharabah financing. Thus, the entire population of murabahah and mudharabah financing customers were used as the research sample. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation to obtain data on the number of customers and about the development of small business. The results showed that murabahahfinancing and mudharabah had a significant positive effect on the development of small business customers BMT Mu’amalah Syari’ah Tebuireng Jombang.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of  Islamic corporate governance on tax avoidance of sharia banking in Indonesia. The data that used in this study is scendary data derived from annual financial statements and good corporate governance report of sharia banking in Indonesia during 2013-2017 period. The number of sharia banking that became sample in this study were 8 banks so there 55 research samples. The metohod of analysis that use is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the elements of corporate governance that consist of  the board of commissioners, the board of commissioner meeting, the board of sharia, the board of sharia meeting, audit committee, meeting of audit comitte significantly influence the activity of tax avoidance as measured using proxy book tax gap. Other results show that the tax avoidance activity as measured with proxy book tax gap are not affected significantly by the board of commissioner meeting. Limitation of this study is use corporate governance’s proxy separately, so it can’t capture the full effect of corporate governane.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing number of unemployed college graduates, because more of them want to become office employees or state employees. In fact, there are opportunities that can be made to become new fields of work. Their mindset must be changed so that they do not become government spending to create jobs. Therefore, from now on it is necessary to introduce entrepreneurial education, so that their entrepreneurial spirit develops well. One of the objectives of giving this course is the formation of an entrepreneurial spirit. The purpose of this study is from a course program that can provide knowledge for college graduates about the world of business, and form a mindset to seriously become entrepreneurs. This research is descriptive qualitative and provides a real picture related to the competency of entrepreneurship courses in IAIN Kudus for students and the effect of the realization of E-commerce utilization on student activities in becoming young entrepreneurs. E-commerce is the process of buying and selling transactions that use electronic devices such as telephone and internet. E-commerce is more than just buying and selling products online but includes all the processes of developing, marketing, selling, shipping, servicing and paying for customers and customers, with support from business partners around the world. This system relies heavily on internet resources and other technologies that can support this process. These results can be developed along with the level of need, because entrepreneurial subjects will increase along with the business world. the increasing competency in improving the spirit of young entrepreneurs is expected in the micro scope to increase the entrepreneur's bargaining position and in the macro scope to be able to economy development.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the difference between financial literacy of Credit Union Customers who have financial education and Baitul Maal Wattamwil Customers who do not have financial education in term of behavior, knowledge and attitude. The data was collected by conducting survey. The object of this study is 60 persons consist of 30 credit union customers and 30 BMT customers. The result of this study shows that there is no significance difference between financial literacy of Credit Union Customers who have financial education and Baitul Maal Wattamwil Customers who do not have financial education in term of behavior, knowledge and attitude. This study is only to examine the difference between the financial literacy of the CU customer who has get financial education and BMT customer who has not gotten financial education. The next study is hoped to analyze the different object before and after given financial education or different objects such as students, banking customers, and housewife. This study is only analyzing in term of three aspects; behavior, knowledge and attitude of the customers. Therefore, the further study can enhance other aspects such as gender, education level, etc.

Abstract

Kudus Regency is one of the districts in Central Java whose economic activities that are dominated by the industrial sector both in large industries such as the Djarum and Pura Barutama, and small industries. The industrial sector is the main pillar of the economy of Kudus with a contribution about 63.55 percent. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, where the author does not use statistical data in collecting and identifying data. Qualitative methods are best used to develop theories that are built from data obtained through the field. Operational Management is a function or management activity that includes planning, organization, staffing, coordination, direction and supervision of the company's operations. There are three main problems faced by the company such as the problem of determining the company position, design, and other operational problems. Determination of the company position in the community aims to have the company in accordance with community needs, and can be run economically, effectively and efficiently. The similarities between theory and practice, for example, share market segmentation so that in determining what items will be sold or produced according to market needs so that the segments will be targeted or the segments to be targeted, the position of goods will also be determined. While differences in practice in determining production or sales do not use calculations such as through sales forecasts and targets to be achieved.

Abstract

This article explains the results of empirical testing of the theory of total quality service, that service quality in this study with tangible, responsiveness, empathetic, and disciplinary variables determines the level of community satisfaction. The concept is in line with the new paradigm in the management of government institutions, including the village government as outlined in the policy of Bureaucratic Reform. The study was conducted at the village government service office in Masohi District, Central Maluku. The number of respondents are 40 people, with a response rate of 95%. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires, namely researchers directly to the research location to spread questionnaires. Data is analyzed by using regression. The results showed that based on alpha 5% the empathetic, tangible and disciplined variables had a significant positive effect. Meanwhile, the responsiveness variable shows no significant effect. The results of this study mean that even though responsiveness does not have a significant effect, but see the value of R square 0.892 means that all independent variables can explain as much as 89% of the dependent variable.

Abstract

MSMEs have faced many challenges, especially in marketing its products, consequently the use of information technology is a necessity in the midst of rapid business changes. This study aimed to analyze the use of e-commerce in strengthening MSMEs competitiveness in terms of operations and marketing.  The research took place in Kudus, a city that is pro-investment, where there are many MSMEs with various business fields.  The respondents were the owners of the embroidery business in Padurenan village that was the center of the embroidery and convection industry in Kudus. They were asked about the use of e-commerce in supporting their business in terms of operation and marketing activities. Data then analyzed through qualitative technique analysis in order to conclude the research problem. As the results of the study, it’s concluded that the use of e-commerce impacted on broader marketing area, cost reduction, more relation, ease of transaction, and additional income.  Besides there were some concequencies such as higher competition, plagiarism, and prone to fraud recognized as threats of the e-commerce implementation.Keywords: empowerment, competitiveness, e-commerce, threats, marketing.

Abstract

The study was conducted on employees of UKM Sank Makroni Cap Bintang, Mutih Wetan Village, Demak Regency. This research includes the type of field research, which is a research study that takes authentic data objectively. Whereas seen from the type, this research is classified as qualitative research using descriptive method. The research was conducted to determine the role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational culture to improve employee performance. There are five aspects in implementing OCB, namely: Altruism, Conscientiousness, Courtesy and Civic Virtue. While the role of organizational culture will improve employee performance through seven aspects in its implementation, namely: innovation and courageous risk taking, attention, people orientation, team orientation, aggressiveness, stability.
